The Royal Spanish Football Federation has modified its regulations for the following season in order to avoid the liquidation of clubs and their replacement by similar teams, thus avoiding the debts incurred. From now on, the 'heir' clubs of those liquidated must also assume the payment obligations of their predecessor. In recent years, especially since the beginning of the crisis and the economic debacle of Spanish football, there have been numerous refoundations of 'historic' clubs , giving birth to new societies free of the economic burdens of the past, although ' heirs' of the symbols and sports structure of the liquidated team. It has happened in Lleida , Terrasa , Logroñés , Compostela , Mérida , Murcia , Granada , Badajoz , where the city's historic teams were supplanted by a new team with the same colors, similar shield and almost identical name. And it is about to happen in Salamanca and possibly in more cities this summer.
The strategy is based on liquidating the public limited company without satisfying the outstanding debts, creating a parallel club practically the same as the previous one (same city, same colors, similar shield and similar name) and completely healthy . The debts of the defunct club would become dependent on the state compensation fund, which Middle East Mobile Number List has been assuming the non-payments of Spanish football for years. The next step after creating a new club is to buy the federative rights (place in the category) of the liquidated club, going out to compete a new season in the same division almost like a 'photocopy'. Thus, the new club saves years of competition in lower categories. Something similar is what Juan José Hidalgo , president of the Globalia tourism group, has planned, who is willing to create a club called 'Salamanca UD' that would replace ' UD Salamanca' and thus evade the debts with the Treasury , Social Security and creditors contracted by the company on the verge of extinction: about 15 million euros.
However, these refoundation plans could be disrupted in view of the new regulations established by the Royal Spanish Football Federation , which imposes new requirements for this type of situations with the aim of " guaranteeing the competitive and economic balance " of Spanish football, according to a federation spokesperson consulted by ECD. The new articles proposed by the RFEF will force newly created teams that ' imitate' a defunct team from the same city to take charge of the debts incurred by the previous company. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to access your place and must start playing in the regional category. This regulation, which will come into force on July 1, includes certain objective assumptions that will be analyzed in each case of 'refoundation'. If “any” of them are observed, the debt transfer will be applied . These are the assumptions: - Play matches on the same field or playing field, even if its name changes. - In general, any indication that leads to confusion between both clubs and when there is objective and subjective similarity or identity between both clubs.
